The Honda Classic 5K Run/Walk

The Honda Classic 5K's race course treats runners and walkers to an exclusive experience within the picturesque grounds of the historic Champion Golf Course, home of The Honda Classic. Whether you are an avid golfer or have never played before, you now have the opportunity to take on the famed Bear Trap (holes 15, 16 & 17) -- no golf clubs necessary.

Benefiting

All net proceeds from the race benefit Seagull Industries for the Disabled. Seagull Industries enhances the quality of life of developmentally challenged individuals through advocacy and educational, social, vocational and residential programs designed to encourage achievement, self-reliance and economic independence.

  (Course will be run on concrete cart paths)

Registration

Advance registration will end at 9 p.m. Thursday, January 17. After that time, runners/walkers must register on-site at PGA National on race day. Registration cost on race day will be $40.

Entry Fee

• Adult: $30 ($35 after December 1, 2012)
• Student (15 & Under): $20
• ** Race Day: $40 - Adult
• ** Race Day: $25 - Student
• Kid's Fun Run: $10

All participants will receive a race shirt and prizes. Light refreshments will be provided.

Age Groups

• Adult 5k – 16 years and older
• Kids 5k – 15 years and under
• Kids Fun Run – 8 years and under

• Male & Female Masters - 1st Place Overall
• Male & Female Grand Masters - 1st Place Overall
• Male & Female - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place in each age group

Directions & Parking

PGA National Resort & Spa, 400 Avenue of the Champions, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418.

From I-95 or the Turnpike, take the PGA Blvd WEST exit and continue on PGA Blvd. until you reach Avenue of the Champions. Left onto Avenue of Champions; at the traffic circle continue past the guard house. Avenue of the Champions dead ends into PGA National Resort. Signage will direct you to the proper area for parking, registration, etc.
