COUTOURE CLUB HOPES TO MAKE DIFFERENCE FOR HONDA CLASSIC

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL - A group of 40 women are taking sponsor and spectator relations to a new level at The Honda Classic through the formation of an organized group that is assisting in multiple areas of the tournament.

They have named their group the CouTOURe Club and you might find them anywhere from the lounge they have assembled out of a vacant retail space in The Gardens Mall to the sky suite area on the 17th hole at The Honda Classic. The ladies will be functioning as additional hostesses around the hospitality areas at the 17th and 18th holes, including the Champions Club, Bear Trap sky suites and the Wine Garden at the 17th hole.

"We are trying to provide more personalized service to sponsors and spectators while also increasing awareness of what the Honda does for the community," said Sharon McEnroe, Chairwoman of the club. "The tournament does so much for children and you would be surprised at how many people don't know about that. They are focused only on the golf tournament.

"These women who have become involved in our group are so resourceful and hard working. They have jumped at the opportunity to enhance the charitable impact of the event and help create a better atmosphere at the tournament."

One of the first signs of the CouTOURe Club's impact has been The Honda Classic Lounge at The Gardens Mall. The ladies have created a comfortable environment out of vacant retail space by taking couches, a putting green and plasma televisions playing Honda footage and classic golf movies and integrating them alongside a ticket sales kiosk.
